~~~~SUMMER CAMPING~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A midsummer night's dream, ~ O, yes, that would have to be outdoor summer camping. Just the thought of it brings back wonderful memories of summer: fun, night breezes, rain on the tent or cabin roof. the smell of the night camfire, marshmellows, charcoal hamburgers flavored with a little Lake sand or forest pine dirt. Yes, and so much more. Like crystal clear rivers, the sand dunes, overnight campouts, a trip to the yearly cherry festival.

This page will be devoted to some of my experiences during the many years spent summer camping. I hope you all have had the experience at least once in your life.

So stay tuned and come back often to see the progress being made as I reconstruct my joys of summer camping.

I am excited about this page for it has so many wonderful memories. I shall update this page often.

Surfing the web, I came across a group of pictures that reminded me a lot of the summer fun of camping. Children just enjoying themselves at play and recreation. In many of the pictures I could relate to the children having fun for I was in a similar situation for many years enjoying children at play at a summer camp.

O, to be a child again. They view the world about them with innocence and joy ! It makes us want to revisit the child within each one of us.

LIFE IS FUN
LIFE IS PRECIOUS
ENJOY EVERY MOMENT

And the many new friends made during that time.
Many of those friends are now sending their own
children to camp to experience the same joys.

SUMMER CAMP ~ An experience everyone should have
at least once in their life.
